Basketball Recap: Presbyterian Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Presbyterian Christian duked it out with Mendenhall on Thursday. The Bobcats fell 56-48 to the Tigers. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 57-50.

Presbyterian Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mendenhall, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Presbyterian Christian will venture away from home to challenge St. Paul's Episcopal at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Saints have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Mendenhall, they will square off against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
