It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Yuma Catholic had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Millennium Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Shamrocks sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Yuma Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Miles Priest and Noah Flores. Another thorn in Millennium's side was Shaun Carter, who made 17 total tackles.

Millennium lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dmari Bryant, who rushed for 147 yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards. Rayden Reibel was another key player, throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns.

Yuma Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Millennium, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Yuma Catholic has already played their next contest, a 34-27 loss against Marana on the 14th. Millennium does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
