Basketball Game Preview: Wesley Chapel Wildcats vs. Sickles Gryphons + How To Watch

The Wesley Chapel Wildcats and the Sickles Gryphons will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Wesley Chapel saw some tournament action on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-64 win over Gateway Charter. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sickles). They were the clear victors by an 85-61 margin over Wiregrass Ranch on Monday. That's two games straight that the Gryphons have won by exactly 24 points.

Sickles' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Wesley Chapel, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Wesley Chapel came up short against Sickles in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 74-61. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Gryphons' Chase Weismiller, who went 5-for-10 en route to 19 points and five rebounds.
