York had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Glenbard East Rams 10-2. The win continues a trend for the Dukes in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Jack Bodach looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, York let Marco Giorno and Nick Allen run wild. Giorno scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Allen scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Fleming, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run.

Glenbard East now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, York will be playing in front of their home fans against Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenbard East, they will challenge Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
