Northridge was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Milton-Union on Friday. The Northridge Polar Bears blew past the Milton-Union Bulldogs 55-31. The Polar Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Milton-Union lost, don't look at Carson Lavy. Despite the final result, he posted seven points. What's more, Lavy also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Carson Fulton also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Northridge is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Milton-Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will challenge Lehman Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milton-Union, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Milton-Union is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
