Volleyball Game Preview: Blythewood Bengals vs. Lexington Wildcats

The Blythewood Bengals will head out to face off against the Lexington Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lexington will be up against a hot Blythewood squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Bengals' way against Sumter on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lexington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Dutch Fork with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.

Lexington was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-21.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Blythewood, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Blythewood came up short against Lexington in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Bengals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
