Volleyball Recap: Amelia Academy Takes a Loss

Amelia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.

Trista Davis paced Amelia Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Davis got some help from Reagan Graber and her four assists. Graber was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Amelia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Amelia Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Kenston Forest on the 23rd. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Southampton Academy on the 23rd.
