Volleyball Recap: Cabool Has No Trouble Against Plato

Cabool waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Plato Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cabool was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Jayne Thompson and Sophia Dotson, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Cambree Woodard and her 29 assists. Dotson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Cabool now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Plato, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Cabool is taking a road trip to take on Winona at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plato, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ava at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
