It was a good run, but Clinton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cache Bulldogs by a score of 45-42. On the bright side, the 42- point effort marked the Red Tornadoes' highest-scoring contest to date.

Clinton's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Cache, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton will take on rival Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Cache is set to square off against their familiar foe Douglass at 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
