Softball Game Preview: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. St. Paul Flyers

For the second straight game, Western Reserve will face off against St. Paul. The Roughriders will host the Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Reserve hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Monday, Western Reserve came up short against St. Paul and fell 5-1.

For St. Paul's part, Taegan Mansfield-Bush spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Ella Kalizewski was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Guerra, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Western Reserve, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
