Ignacio hasn't had much luck against Dolores recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bobcats will challenge the Bears at 11:00 a.m. Ignacio is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Ignacio will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Dove Creek on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Cole W, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was William M, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

W wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Ignacio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Dolores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Valencia, falling 13-2.

The win got Ignacio back to even at 2-2. As for Dolores, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Ignacio took their victory against Dolores in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
