Stroudsburg had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Pleasant Valley Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 back in April.

Damian Budhai was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Stroudsburg's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Coming up, Stroudsburg will face off against Palmerton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will square off against Scranton Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
