Soccer Recap: Proctor Academy Takes a Loss

Proctor Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vermont Academy Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Proctor Academy have lost by just one goal.

Proctor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-3. As for Vermont Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Proctor Academy will challenge St. Paul's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vermont Academy, they will head out to challenge Woodstock at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
