Volleyball Game Preview: Valhalla Norsemen vs. Christian Patriots

The Valhalla Norsemen will square off against the Christian Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Valhalla turned things around against Kearny on Saturday. They came out on top against the Komets by a score of 2-0.

Valhalla had a senior duo take command as Luke D'Alessio had 26 digs and Shia Ramos had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Ramos a new career-high. Tristan Heil also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Calvin Christian on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Calvin Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-11.

Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Valhalla, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
