Volleyball Recap: Owosso Comes Up Short

Owosso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to East Lansing. Owosso was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as East Lansing apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

East Lansing can attribute much of their success to Stella Dimaggio, who had eight digs and one assist.

Owosso's loss dropped their record down to 9-22-2. As for East Lansing, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-14-1 record this season.

Owosso has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Eaton Rapids on the 18th. As for East Lansing, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Freeland on the 18th.
