MacArthur got themselves on the board against Lanphier on Tuesday, but Lanphier never followed suit. They blew past the Lions 17-0. With that victory, the Generals brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

Luke Karunas made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aidan Bruce, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamison England, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

MacArthur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lanphier only posted an OBP of .154.

MacArthur now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lanphier, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
