Basketball Recap: Aspen Comes Up Short

Aspen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 41-22 to the Moffat County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-17 back in December of 2025.

Aspen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Moffat County, they moved to 3-12 with that win, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Coming up, Aspen will take on Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moffat County, they will square off against Summit at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
