After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Pace Academy finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 1-0. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lambert, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Pace Academy and Lambert should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Pace Academy (ranked 40th) will meet Forest Park (ranked 307th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season. Meanwhile, Lambert will take on South Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 82 places (7 vs. 89).
