Volleyball Recap: Burroughs Beats Clayton for Their Sixth Straight Win

Burroughs waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Clayton Greyhounds as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Bombers: when they faced off against the Greyhounds on October 3rd, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Leading Burroughs to victory were Bailey Biggs and Mia Schactman. Biggs had 15 digs and two aces, while Schactman had six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 20 consecutive matches.

Burroughs' record is now 17-7-1. As for Clayton, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Burroughs has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Parkway Central on the 28th. Clayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
