Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

If Bloomfield was riding high fresh off their 71-15 takedown of East Rochester last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bloomfield Bombers fell just short of the Waterloo Tigers by a score of 67-64 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bombers have suffered since December 1, 2023.

Bloomfield's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Waterloo, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Bloomfield will welcome Midlakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterloo, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Waterloo Tigers face off against the Pittsford Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
