Softball Recap: Middletown South Triumphs

Middletown South's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Notre Dame Irish.

Middletown South is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Notre Dame, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
