Football Recap: Nordonia Knights vs. Mayfield Wildcats
Nordonia won against Berea-Midpark last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Nordonia Knights claimed a resounding 35-7 win over the Mayfield Wildcats at home. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nordonia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rocco Delorenzo, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards Delorenzo has posted since back in September of 2023. Another back making a difference was Liam Kountz, who rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown.
