Softball Recap: Canon City Tigers vs. Mesa Ridge Grizzlies

Canon City extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 7-14. They lost 20-8 to the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-14 on Tuesday.

Addison Arnold was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Natalie Henry, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

As for Mesa Ridge, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-7-1. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
