Football Recap: Live Oak Classical Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Live Oak Classical and Central Texas Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Live Oak Classical had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 50-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 60 points in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Austin Evans continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Texas Christian, rushing for 135 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. Evans' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. Rhett Humphrey did his part by putting the 'special' in special teams, booting in three field goals and five extra points.

Live Oak Classical's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Central Texas Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Live Oak Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Texas Christian, they will take on First Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
