Preview: Hueytown Golden Gophers vs. Wenonah Dragons
Hueytown is 0-4 against Wenonah since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hueytown Golden Gophers will look to defend their home court against the Wenonah Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Hueytown had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by Brookwood on the road to the tune of 60-22. Meanwhile, Wenonah earned a 66-55 victory over Center Point on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wenonah.
