Softball Preview: Largo Packers vs. Hollins Royals

Largo is 0-8 against Hollins since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Largo Packers will head out on the road to face off against the Hollins Royals at 7:00 p.m. Largo is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Largo took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past Pinellas Park 8-7.

Largo let Miranda Rollins and Mia Kabakov loose on the outfield. Rollins scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Kabakov scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Rollins is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last eight games she's played. Largo's record now sits at 8-13. As for Hollins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
