Basketball Game Preview: Kell Longhorns vs. Westminster Wildcats

Last Thursday, Kell beat Centennial 77-68. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Knights are ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Westminster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-66 heartbreaker at the hands of Cambridge. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since December 14, 2023.

Kell's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.0 points per game. As for Westminster, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
