Volleyball Recap: Smiths Station Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Smiths Station had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-27, 25-11.

St. Anne-Pacelli pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Smiths Station will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Russell County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will be taking part in a tournament against Perry at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
