Soccer Recap: Mississinewa Takes a Loss

Mississinewa was the 6-1 winner over Tipton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians lost 7-1 to the Blue Devils on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Mississinewa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Tipton are ranked 117th).

Mississinewa's goal came courtesy of Seth Yoder, who's now up to 30 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mississinewa and nudges their season record down to 6-7-1. As for Tipton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mississinewa will face off against Oak Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tipton, they will challenge Delphi Community at 5:30 p.m. on October 6.
