Ansley/Litchfield waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-14.

Ansley/Litchfield was led to victory by Garittee Smith and Ava Paitz. Smith had 21 digs and four assists, while Paitz had nine digs and two aces. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Ansley/Litchfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive contests.

Ansley/Litchfield's record is now 25-6. As for Maywood/Hayes Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-10 record this season.
