Soccer Recap: Splendora Plays to a Tie

Splendora pushed their score to zero the last time they played Hardin-Jefferson, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Splendora Wildcats and the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Wildcats' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Janet Sanchez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Splendora's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-1.

Splendora will challenge Eisenhower at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Hardin-Jefferson has already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Hudson on the 2nd.
