Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ashe County + How To Watch

Ashe County won the last time they faced Starmount and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies blew past the Rams 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ashe County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Ashe County found their leader in sophomore Kinzley Blevins, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Blevins.

Ashe County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Starmount, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Ashe County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Alleghany on the 18th. As for Starmount, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Elkin on the 18th.
