Football Game Preview: Boca Raton Bobcats vs. Stoneman Douglas Eagles + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Boca Raton will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Stoneman Douglas Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Boca Raton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Boca Raton didn't have too much trouble with Forest Hill as they won 28-12. The matchup marked the Bobcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Adon Elmon had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 149 yards on only ten carries. Those 149 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Sonny Pepitone was in the mix too, providing Boca Raton with two scores.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Boca Raton's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Jacory Noel was the leader with three. Noel is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Stoneman Douglas won against Cooper City last Monday with 20 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Eagles walked away with a 20-9 victory over Boyd Anderson.

Boca Raton's record now sits at 3-1. As for Stoneman Douglas, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Boca Raton against Stoneman Douglas in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
