Basketball Recap: Aaron Wood Key Part of Team Effort in Ducks Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeastern Prep Academy, Cornerstone Charter Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lyman Greyhounds by a score of 46-39. This was payback for the Ducks, who suffered a 73-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cornerstone Charter Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaron Wood out in front who posted 17 points. Kingston Infante was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, Lyman still got an impressive performance from Adrian Martinez, who earned ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mustansir Dalal, who had seven points.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Lyman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Cornerstone Charter Academy will host Ridgeview Global Studies Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyman, they have already played their next matchup, a 49-38 win against Altamonte Christian on the 5th.
