Softball Recap: Lake Orion Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Lake Orion came out on top against Fenton on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dragons have posted since June 13, 2024.

Lake Orion's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Fenton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.
