Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 66-32 loss at the hands of the Shadle Park Highlanders. The Rams lost against the Highlanders in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-39 score last time.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Shadle Park, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Riverside and Northport will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Shadle Park, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newport at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
