For the first time this season, Brownstown Central will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Harrison Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brownstown Central took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Orleans a 4-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Lane Pendleton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lane Steward was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last match, North Harrison made sure to put some runs up on the board against Perry Central on Wednesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Commodores.
