Redwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mt. Whitney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rangers will welcome the Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Redwood has three straight wins, Mt. Whitney has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Redwood made easy work of Porterville and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mt. Whitney didn't have quite enough to beat Golden West on Monday and fell 3-2.

Mt. Whitney started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-28, 25-13, 25-19, 15-10.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Redwood, their win bumped their record up to 19-14.

Everything went Redwood's way against Mt. Whitney when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Redwood made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
