Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Struthers). They came out on top against the Jefferson Area Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Struthers haven't had any issues with Jefferson Area recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Struthers' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Jefferson Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Struthers will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Girard at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
