Basketball Recap: Alma Starts Season with Victory Against Bertrand

Alma took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bertrand Vikings 67-23. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

Alma found their leader in freshman Kinley Ford, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 22 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tierston Moore, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
