It's playoff time, and Wellsboro had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Wyalusing Valley Rams 3-2 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Rams back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Kendall Sweet paced Wellsboro's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sweet got some help from Ellie Largey and her 15 assists. Peyton Keane controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Wellsboro is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Wyalusing Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
