Hudson has gone 8-0 against Madisonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hudson Hornets will host the Madisonville Mustangs at 6:00 p.m.

Hudson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Palestine on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-1. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Madisonville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. Considering the Mustangs have won 12 matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Madisonville has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Hudson, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4-1.

Hudson skirted past Madisonville 1-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Hudson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Madisonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
