Baseball Game Preview: Corydon Central Panthers vs. Tecumseh Braves

The Corydon Central Panthers will square off against the Tecumseh Braves at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Corydon Central: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Tecumseh has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Corydon Central couldn't beat Silver Creek on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Panthers lost 16-5 to the Dragons.

Devin Baty made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Landen James, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Tecumseh didn't have quite enough to beat Barr-Reeve on Thursday and fell 7-6. The Braves have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Corydon Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14-1. As for Tecumseh, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
