Basketball Recap: Central Montcalm Takes a Loss

Central Montcalm came up into this matchup off a tough 31-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Tri County Area Vikings by a score of 37-34 on Tuesday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Central Montcalm and nudges their season record down to 8-9. As for Tri County Area, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.

Central Montcalm has already played their next game (against Newaygo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tri County Area, they will face off against Reed City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
