Dansville's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Caledonia-Mumford 10-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Jake Kreiley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Kreiley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brady Henchen, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and three runs. Henchen is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Carson Mays was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Dansville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Caledonia-Mumford only posted a batting average of .188.
Meanwhile, Livonia came up short against Haverling on Monday and fell 5-1. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Livonia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Benitez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
This is the second loss in a row for Livonia and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Dansville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Livonia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Dansville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for Livonia, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Dansville's hitters?
Dansville couldn't quite get it done against Livonia when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
