Volleyball Recap: Panorama Comes Up Short

Panorama lost against Perry back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Bluejays. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Panorama was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Kalley Whelchel, who had five assists and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Panorama's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Perry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-13.

Coincidentally, Panorama and Perry will both be playing Paton-Churdan the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will head out to face the Rockets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
