Football Game Preview: Mt. Enterprise Wildcats vs. Bremond Tigers + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Kaegan Ash and Tank Scott are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats will square off against the Bremond Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Enterprise knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Bremond likes a good challenge.

Mt. Enterprise is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Overton to the tune of 74-46. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bremond duked it out with Mart on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 17-6 victory over the Panthers. The 17-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mt. Enterprise better keep an eye on Tyriq Scott. He was instrumental in Bremond's win, rushing for 183 yards and one touchdown. Those 183 rushing yards gave Scott a new career-high.

Bremond was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 177 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.

Bremond's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.1 points on average over those games. As for Mt. Enterprise, their record is now 13-0.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Mt. Enterprise has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 416.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bremond struggles in that department as they've been averaging 247.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Mt. Enterprise came up short against Bremond in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 26-20. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
