Baseball Recap: Central Noble Victorious

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Central Noble ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past the Woodlan Warriors 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on Saturday.

Ryan Lemish spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caden Douglas, who went 1-for-5 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Burkhart, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Central Noble has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Woodlan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
