Volleyball Game Preview: Bear River Bruins vs. Center Cougars

The Bear River Bruins are taking a road trip to face off against the Center Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bear River will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Bear River was able to grind out a solid victory over Marysville, taking the game 3-1.

Bear River was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-7, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Center didn't have quite enough to beat Lincoln on Monday and fell 3-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 27-25, 15-13.

Bear River's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Bear River took their victory against Center when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Bear River repeat their success, or does Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
