Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grand Terrace Titans.

Troy now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Grand Terrace, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Canyon on the 11th. As for Grand Terrace, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Granite Hills on the 11th.
